Shelby Booth - LPC-Associate
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a passion for helping clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and teens, and I especially enjoy supporting them as they navigate the challenges, emotions, and experiences that come with these stages of life.
In my work, I focus on creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are. No pressure, no judgment. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and implement other approaches depending on your needs and what feels most comfortable for you. I believe there isn’t one single way to face a therapeutic concern; every person’s story is unique, and my goal is to collaborate with you to find the interventions and tools that actually fit you.
I have the most experience helping clients with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals. My therapeutic style is open-minded, honest, and accepting, grounded in the belief that healing starts with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and genuine connection.
If you’re looking for a counselor who will meet you where you are and work with you to create meaningful change and understanding in your life, I’d love to connect.
