Anamile Idalia Guerra, LPC-A
Hello, my name is Anamile Idalia Guerra. I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), fluent in both English and Spanish, under the supervision of Jennifer Gonzalez, MS, LPC-S, and Amanda Varnon, MA, LPC-S. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UTRGV and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from USW.
I understand that reaching out for help can be difficult, and it takes courage to take the first step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. My goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear or judgment.
My approach to counseling draws from person-centered therapy, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). I work collaboratively with you to identify and build upon your strengths, empowering you to overcome obstacles and achieve your personal goals. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other life challenges, we will work together to develop coping strategies and foster lasting change.
I have experience working with children ages five and up, teenagers, adults, older adults, and couples. I believe growth happens through collaboration and your willingness to engage in the process, and I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Wherever you are on your path, I will walk alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement as you work toward a healthier, more balanced life.
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing—or simply want to explore what counseling could mean for you—I invite you to reach out for a consultation. I look forward to supporting you in reaching your goals and discovering your full potential.
