Ms. Aeysha Shah -  Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Hi there! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a passion for walking alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges. I earned my B.S. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas and went on to complete my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M–Central Texas. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including mood and personality disorders, parenting challenges, suicidal ideation, and life transitions.

I believe therapy should be a welcoming, supportive, and empowering experience. My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, where you are the expert of your own story, and I’m here to support your growth with compassion and curiosity. As a multicultural woman, I also understand how vulnerable it can feel to open up—and how valuable it is to have a safe space where your voice is heard, your identity is honored, and your experiences are respected.

In our work together, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify how thought patterns may be impacting your mood and behavior, and Solution-Focused Therapy to explore your strengths and envision the future you want to build. Therapy takes effort, but it doesn’t have to feel like a struggle. I believe healing and self-discovery can be both powerful and even a little fun along the way.

Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to support you as you grow, learn, and step into the best version of yourself.
