Alexandra Svadlenak, MS, LPC, LCDC

Hi, I’m Ms. Svadlenak, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with nearly a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults on their path toward growth, healing, and meaningful change. I’m passionate about helping individuals reconnect with the strength and wisdom within themselves to create the lives they truly want to live—lives aligned with their values, purpose, and sense of self.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University, and later completed my Master of Science in Counseling at the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people from all walks of life—each with their own story, struggles, and aspirations.

I provide individual and couples therapy tailored to the unique needs and goals of every client. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Enhancement Therapy. Whether someone is navigating addiction, co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, ADHD, or life stressors, my goal is to meet them where they are and support them in building a life that feels more manageable, empowered, and fulfilling.

At the heart of my work is a desire to empower my clients—to help them set meaningful goals, build effective coping skills, and take actionable steps toward the change they’re seeking. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m honored to walk alongside those ready to take that next step toward healing and personal growth.

No matter where you are in your journey, know that change is possible—and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
