COURTNEY CARDENAS, LPC...

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, or major life transitions on your own. Whether you're coping with the loss of a loved one, navigating a difficult relationship, healing from past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face these challenges alone.

Courtney Cardenas is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience helping adolescents, adults, and older adults find healing, resilience, and hope. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Courtney has extensive experience helping individuals navigate grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. Her professional journey began in a hospital setting, where she facilitated specialized grief support groups for older adults. Through both her professional work and personal experiences, she has developed a deep understanding of the complex emotions that accompany loss and life transitions.

Believing that no two individuals are alike, Courtney takes a personalized approach to therapy that is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. She utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Courtney works collaboratively with clients to help them process difficult experiences, build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, and develop greater confidence in themselves and their future. She believes healing happens through connection, self-discovery, and creating a safe space where clients can openly explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
