An Phan - LPA
Hi, I’m An Phan, a Licensed Psychological Associate with a Master’s degree in Clinical-Community Psychology from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin. I believe therapy offers a rare and powerful opportunity to pause, ask meaningful questions, and listen for the answers that often get lost in the busyness of daily life. My goal is to walk alongside you as you explore life’s complexities and move toward a deeper sense of direction and purpose.
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, sleep difficulties, phobias, anger, and motivation struggles. My approach blends evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness—anchored in a humanistic foundation that honors your unique story and strengths.
I believe therapy is a space for reflection, honest dialogue, and transformation. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that may be holding you back, build tools to foster resilience, and connect with what truly matters to you. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and live in alignment with your values.
Outside the therapy room, I find joy in the immersive worlds of science fiction, progression fantasy, and anime—anything with a compelling story captures my imagination. I enjoy spirited philosophical debates (especially over new and adventurous cuisine), long walks in the park, and passionately cheering on my favorite sports teams. I also spend a lot of time negotiating with my two dogs, who are pretty sure they run the household.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, or simply looking for a safe space to explore what’s next, I’m here to support you. Therapy with me is about discovering insight, cultivating lasting change, and embracing the life that feels most authentic to you.
