Mrs. Tamara Heiskill - LPC-Surpervisor
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward exploring therapy is a courageous and meaningful decision, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey.
My name is Tamara Heiskill. I’m a licensed psychotherapist, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and an Acupuncture Detox Specialist. I also hold an ALSOTP certification to support individuals facing challenges related to sexual offenses. For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with their inner strength.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of the Southwest, and over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings with individuals from all walks of life. I believe every person’s story is unique—and within each story lies courage, pain, hope, and the capacity to heal.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or struggling with unresolved trauma, difficult relationships, addiction, or low self-worth. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I’m formally trained in EMDR and crisis therapy, which allows me to support individuals working through PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. I work with both children and adults, using tailored strategies to meet each client’s unique needs.
I also draw from attachment-based and emotion-focused approaches, helping clients gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with purpose. My goal is not just to help you feel better—but to support you in living better, more fully and authentically.
No matter where you are in your healing journey, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can be yourself, explore your story, and begin to move toward lasting change. I look forward to walking with you.
